Sleeping Like a Baby...Or Not So Much!

Doesn't he look like a little angel when he sleeps? Well don't let him fool you! This is what he does all day long, but come nightfall my little party animal comes out to play. He is just like his daddy! Up all night! The past few nights I think Mark and I have gotten a total of 3 hours of sleep a night. I forgot how exhausting having a newborn is...but it is definitely worth it when you see his precious face.

Single Digits! 9 Days to Go!

Well, I posted last week that Gavin would be making his arrival on the 16th. Well, plans have changed and my c-section has been bumped to the 17th. One more day to prepare I guess. I am kind of bummed that I have to wait one more day, but the 17th is a good day because it is my Grandma Peggy's birthday! So, I only have 9 days to go! I am sure they will fly by (I hope!)

On another note, today I took Talan to see the Easter Bunny. It was hilarious. He was perfectly fine, waving at the bunny, blowing kisses, until we got to the front of the line. At that point he started freaking out and wanted nothing to do with the Easter Bunny. I tried to get him to sit with him, but he wouldn't. So, I had to sit with him, but the look on his face says it all!

Luncheon for Gavin

Last Saturday my best friend Angela threw me a little luncheon in honor of Gavin. It was so nice! We had it at Miguel's restaurant, out on the patio. It was such a nice day and so many friends and family showed up to help celebrate. I got so many generous gifts for Gavin~Thanks to everyone who came. Here is a little slideshow of the day. I didn't get pictures of everyone so if anyone has anymore pictures can you email them to me?? Thanks!!

2 Weeks to go!

Well time sure has flown by. I am 38 weeks and Gavin is scheduled to make his arrival via c-section on April 16th. Unless, of course, if he wants to come earlier...I definitely wouldn't mind. I just cannot wait to be done with this pregnancy. Not that I don't like being pregnant, I just have been having really bad sciatic nerve pain in my back and legs which makes it very difficult to chase after a crazy 16 month old! Here is my 38 week picture...sorry I missed 36 and 37!
