Talan's First Haircut

Well it was definitely about time for us to take Talan in to get his first haircut. I had been dreading it for a long time. But his hair didn't seem to be growing anywhere but the back so he had one little curl that just kept getting longer and longer. It kind of looked like a rat tail! We also wanted to just clean up the sides so it wasn't so s

haggy. I was dreading it because I knew that he wouldn't look like a "baby" anymore, he would look like a big boy! It definitely look

s different, but he is still as cute as ever!

We took him to a cute little place in Canyon Crest called "Monkey Dooz". He absolutely loved sitting in the little jeep while the lady cut his hair.

Another First!

Gavin tried rice cereal for the first time last Wednesday. Here are a couple cute pictures of him. He kind of just spit it out but he seemed to like it! I also got a video of it! Talan had to have a little taste too!

4 Months Old!

Gavin had his 4 month birthday on Monday, August 17th. I can't believe how big he is getting already. I took him for his 4 month checkup yesterday and here are his stats:

Height: 27 3/4" (95th Percentile)

Weight: 17.8 lbs (90th Percentile)

Head: 75th Percentile

The doctor was amazed at how strong he was. He will not stay on his back. You lay him down and he immediately will flip over and prop himself up on his hands! I am thinking we are going to have an early crawler on our hands!

She also told us that we could start him on solids if we wanted, rice cereal. We have yet to have his try it, I am waiting for Mark to get home from work so that he can be here to witness his reaction too!

Another River Trip

Well, we were off to the river again this past weekend. This time we took our friends Angela and her son Chance, Carl, and our friends Justin and Tracy who have 2 little girls, Lainey and Marlie. We had such a good time...Here are some pictures of the trip.

Little Cuties

I just wanted to post some cute pictures from the last week. I busted out the bebe pod seat for Gavin. He can sit in it with a little bit of help from a blanket so he doesn't fall over. I can't believe how big he is getting. It seems like he was just born and he is now smiling and interacting with us. He is 16 weeks old today. The other pictures are some that I took the other day. Every morning the boys like to hop into our bed before we get up and do some snuggling and watch Barney...little cuties! I hope they never grow up!!!
